This weeks race was from Boves on Friday the 9th of June and were liberated in a West South West wind. Topping the Combine and the South Section is Derek Nicholls of Patrington on 1402. Topping the North Section is Colin Smith of Filey on 1350. Topping the Central Section is Kev Green of Hull on 1319. Topping the West Section is Mick Burdett of Norton on 1318. Well done Derek and everyone else on the result. All Combine results can be viewed on the Elimar Site the following day.
Coastal South Section:
Patrington Haven Leisure Club. 4 members sent 83 birds with the red card going to Derek Nicholls on 1402 with a Hereman Ceusters yearling cock. Second place went to Derek Nicholls on 1401 with a 2yr old Gaston Van de Wouwer hen winner of many prizes including 2nd at the last Boves. Third and Fourth places also went to Derek Nicholls on 1387 and 1386 with a pair of Heremans Ceusters.
Flamborough Homing Society. 7 members sent 98 birds with the red card going to John & Linda Chadwick on 1365 with an Albert Derwa which has won before. Second place went to Kerry Mellonby & Stuart Knowles on 1359 with a Hereman Ceuster which topped the Combine at Huntingdon. Third place went to Kerry Mellonby & Stuart Knowles on 1359 with a yearling Hereman Ceuster which scored as a young bird. Fourth place went to Gray & Atkin on 1354 with a Soontjen x Janssen which has scored before.
