This weeks race from Huntingdon on the 22ND of April was liberated in a North North East wind. Topping the Combine and the Central Section is Paul Woodmansey of Driffield on 1482. Topping the West Section is George Atkinson of Eastrington on 1459. Topping the South Section is Kerry Mellonby & Stuart Knowles of Bridlington on 1447. Topping the North Section is Jess & Jen Hotham of Filey on 1447. Well done everyone

Central Section: 

Driffield Homing Society. 8 members sent 152 birds with the red card going to Paul Woodmansey on 1482 with a 3yr old multi prize winning Barberien x Van Brant. Second place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1448 with a yearling taking its 1st card. Third place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1443 with a 5yr old which has had a 1st Combine. Fourth place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1442 with a 2yr old which had 2 x 1st last year. Bob Mallinson stock also Paul wins the pools and Hagston Meat nom.

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 9 members sent 121 birds with the red card going to Dave Thompson on 1469 with a direct Mathews cock which has had card in the last two weeks. Second place went to Dave Thompson on 1436 with a Malderhaert hen. Third place went to Williams Bros on 1432 with a Malderhaert cock off Brother Dave. Fourth place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1426 with a Soontjen x Van d Bosch cock which has had 2 x 1sts.

Second place went to Alan Stone & Son on 1451 with a Hermen Ceuster. Third place went to Alan Stone & Son on 1441 with a Ger & Mark McCall of Ireland Soontjen. Fourth place went to John and Jackie Hall on 1440 with a hen.

Fourth place went to John & Margaret Rawson on 1427 with a 3yr old multi card winning cock which was 4th Huntingdon last week

Second place went to Colin Wood & Son on 1434 with a R. Crawford Van Reet. Third place went to Pete & Ange Burke on 1420 with a Van Reet which won Sleaford as a young bird. Fourth place went to Pete & Angie Burke on 1414 which won last week.

Kingston Flying Club. 6 members sent 103 birds with the red card going to Craig Clark on 1425 with a self bred Gary Cox Hereman Ceuster. Which has now got 5 x 1st to its name. Second place went to Mr & Mrs G. Foster on 1404 with a Sayers Bros Van Winkle. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Foster on 1397 with a Sayers Bros Van Winkle which is a previous winner. Fourth place went to Craig Clark on 1394 with a Hereman Ceuster.

Scarborough Social Club. 11 members sent 132 birds with the red card going to Dave Elvidge on 1407 with a Tony Robson Marina Van de Velde. Second place went to Keith Todd on 1407 with a Staf Van Reet which has a 1st 2nd 3rd 4th & 5th to its name. Third place went to Paul & Terry Douthwaite on 1399 with a Geerinck. Fourth place went to Pete Thorpe on 1399 with a roundabout Janssen hen had many card but no 1st.

Filey Homing Society. 5 members sent 117 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1447 with a Leo Heremans x Louis Thijs was 2nd Newark. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1446 with a Stefaan Lambrecht hen which was 3rd Huntingdon. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1414 with a Jacob Poortvliet x Louis Thijs. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1407 with a Ian Vernon x Peter Van Osch.

Mallinson & Son on 1439 with a yearling Louis Thijs cock had 3 minor cards as y.b. Fourth place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1438 with a Louis Thijs cock had a 1st Huntingdon y.b.

 

Coastal South Section:

Second place went to Derek Nicholls on 1440 with a Hereman Ceuster hen. Third place went to Derek Nicholls on 1440 with a Hereman Ceuster yearling hen bred off combine. Fourth place went to Derek Nicholls on 1439 with a 2yr old Hereman Ceuster cock that has been in the top ten of the combine 3 times.

Second place went to John & Linda Chadwick on 1447 with a 3yr old Vandenabeele x Herman Ceuster which won last week. Third place went to George Atkinson on 1433 with one of his own breed. Fourth place went to George Atkinson on 1431 with one off his good cock.
