This weeks race from Billericay on the 29th of April was liberated in a North East wind sending the birds up the coast to Whitby. Topping the Combine and the North Section is S. Mallinson & Son on 1838. Topping the South Section is Bell & Evans of Bridlington on 1796. Topping the West Section is Maurace Hodgson of Norton on 1743. Topping the Central Section is Paul Woodmansey of Driffield on 1735. Well done everyone

Coastal North Section: 

Whitby Premier Club. 12 members sent 321 birds with the red card going to S Mallinson & Son on 1838 with a yearling widowhood hen bred by Robert’s good friend Frans De Coux of Berlaar and has had a 2nd Chelmsford 4th Huntingdon as y.b Second place went to S Mallinson & Son on 1838 with a self bred yearling Louis Thijs Heremans Ceuster cock. Third place went to Brian Storr Bros & Son Jason on 1837 with a 2yr old Ken Monk of Rotherham roundabout hen which has had a 1st Huntindon young bird. Fourth place went to Les Winspear & John Cowey on 1809 with a yearling roundabout Leo Van Rijn x Fountain head Jannsen cock.

Hunmanby Homing Society. 6 members sent 101 birds with the red card going to John & Les Hill on 1762 with a yearling Bussey Chapel Busschaert which won last year and topped the Combine on the first race this year. Second place went to Tony Robson on 1755 with a Marina Van de Velde. Third place went to John & Les Hill on 1744 with a Bussey Chapel Busschaert cock. Fourth place went to Bob Bedford on 1734 with a Kevin Wright Vandenabeele x Frank Sheader Soontjen was 1st Huntingdon.

Filey Homing Society. 4 members sent 114 birds with the red card going to Mervyn Hinchcliffe on 1780 with a Micky Duffield of Keithley Hereman Ceuster. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1773 with a Jacob Poortvliet x Louis Thijs. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1773 with a Jason Buckle of Stowmarket hen. Fourth place went to Mervyn Hinchcliffe on 1772 with a widowhood cock.

Scarborough Social Club. 11 members sent 258 birds with the red card going to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1833 with a Mystique x Leo Hereman which has had a 1st Chelmsford 1st Battle 2nd Sleaford 2 Huntingdon. Second place went to Pete Thorpe on 1779 with a 3yr old Lambrecht with has had many cards including a 2nd from Huntingdon this year. Third place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1779 Arien Vereckt x Koopman which has had 2 x 2nds 1 x 3rd 2 x 4th Fourth place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1773 with an Arien Vereckt x Koopman which has had 1 x 2nd 2 x 3rd 2 x 4th.

Flamborough Homing Society. 10 members sent 351 birds with the red card going to Bell & Evans on 1796 with a Lambrecht which had only one race as a young bird. Second place went to John & Linda Chadwick on 1792 with a Herman Ceuster x Van Dyke scored as y.b Third place went to Kerry Mellonby & Stuart Knowles on 1769 with a Gaston Van de Wouwer. Fourth place went to John & Linda Chadwick on 1764 with a Rauw Sablon.

Bridlington D.F.C. 11 members sent 167 birds with the red card and Second and Third places going to Harry Smith on 1769 1735 and 1734. Fourth place went to Barry Temple on 1733

Hornsea & D. H. Society. 7 members sent 204 birds with the red card and Second place going to Phil & June Edmonds on 1728 and 1724 with there Vandenabeeles. Third and Fourth places going to Gavin Leahy on 1698 and 1689 with his Clive Lister birds.

Withernsea Homing Society. 7 members sent 135 birds with the red card and Fourth place going to Pete Davenport on 1719 and 1707 no details given. Second and Third place went to Dave Beadle on 1713 and 1712 no details given.

Fourth place went to Brian Ford & Sons on 1734 with a Herman Ceuster which won last year.
