This weeks race from Battle on the 7TH of May was liberated in a Northerly wind.  Topping the Combine and the North Section is Dean Ingle on 1140. Topping the South Section is Gray & Atkin on 1132. Topping the Central Section is Franciosy & Bennett on 1124. Topping the West Section is Brian Ford & Sons on 1121. Well done to everyone.

Coastal North Section: 

Scarborough Social Club. 11 members sent 205 birds with the red card going to Ken & Sue Skelton on 1137 with a Kerry Mellonby Vandenabeele x Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster. Second place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1132 with a Wouters x Geerinck. Third place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1132 with a Geerinck which has had a 1st Peterborough & 3rd Battle. Fourth place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1124 with a Quirijnen x Arien Vereckt which was 4th Newark.

Filey Homing Society. 4 members sent 80 birds with the red card going to Colin Smith on 1133 with a Bryan Maude x Gaby Vandenabeele cock. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1082 with a multi prize winning S & S Trattles of Loftus hen. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1077 with a Paul Beaumont of Liverpool Stefaan Lambrecht hen. Fourth place went to Colin Smith on 1028 with a Leo Heremans hen. Mallinson & Son with nest mate to the 2nd one and has had a 3rd & 8th Huntingdon before. Fourth place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1084 with a yearling Louis Leo Heremans x Louis Thijs Heremans Ceuster.

  

Coastal South Section: 

Patrington Haven Leisure Club. 6 members sent 168 birds with the red card going to Shane Reading on 1107 with a Soontjen. Second place went to Derek Nicholls on 1099 with a Geerinckx. Third place went to Martin Weaver on 1098 with a Gaby Vandenabeele. Fourth place went to Derek Nicholls on 1078 with a Heremans Ceuster.

Paul & Helen Johnson became grandparents for the first time on Sunday Paul rang to say that they had a little boy named Henry and weighed 7 pound 6 ounces he was well excited. Well granddad and Grandma get ready for some babysitting duties.
