The first race of the season is over and the race was from Newark on the 8th of April 2017 with the birds liberated in a light South West wind. Topping the Combine and the North Section is John & Les Hill of Hunmanby on 1820. Topping the South Section is Mr & Mrs Chadwick of Flamborough club on 1817 Topping the Central Section is Dave Thompson of Hull on 1786. Topping the West Section is Brian Ford and Sons of Norton on 1785. Well done to everyone
Coastal North Section:
Hunmanby Homing Society. 3 members sent 73 birds with the red card going to John & Les Hill on 1820 with a yearling Bussey Chapel Busschaert which won last year John is in his 80’s and still uses the clock although not very mobil. Second place went to Bob Bedford on 1819 with a Marina Van de Velde. Third place went to Tony Robson on 1791 with a Marina van de Velde. Fourth place went to Tony Robson again on 1783 with a Roger Grundy Janssen.
Scarborough Social Club. 8 members sent 182 birds with the red card and the next places and having a good day is Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1767 with a Arien Vereckt which has a 1st Battle1t Clermon,1s Huntingdon, 1st Billericay and 2nd Celmsford to its name.
