NORTON INVITATION HOMING SOCIETY
On Saturday the 22nd of October 27 members and Friends sat down to a dinner at The Derwent Arms Norton. Many thanks from the members go to Darren their Host for the Evening
for a lovely meal which was enjoyed by everyone.
After the meal it was onto the prize presentation with all the members winning something thanks to the new points system. Top prize winners were Brian Ford and Son Gary
winning £420 Second place is Mick Burdett with and £265 Third place is Maurace Hodgson with £180 Fourth place Alan Gill, Fifth place went to Ray Burdett, Sixth place went to Brian Dawson,
Seventh place went to Brian Greenley, Eighth place went to Steve Taylor, Ninth place went to Richard Mort, Tenth place went to New Member Pete Shipley, Eleventh place went to Gary Burdett,
Twelfth place went to Andy Freer, Thirteenth place went to Steve Woodward. New Member Pete Shipley who only raced young birds did very well with his birds being in the frame most weeks.
Mick Burdett won the Breeder Buyer £250 Brian Greenley won the Gold Ring Race £100 Maurace Hodgson won the show Race £250 the grand total pay out for this season was £3,236.50p.

A special thanks must go to the following Steve Taylor for selling Raffle Tickets all season. Gary Ford for selling the Bonus Ball all year. Ray Burdett and Brian Dawson for doing the Baskets all season
and Brian Greenley for all his work on the computer.
A Good season of flying was had by all the members in a difficult season with Hawk Attacks and bad weather
all the best for the 2017 season.
