SCARBOROUGH SOCIAL CLUB HELD THEIR ANNUAL PRESENTATION NIGHT
AT
THE NEWLANDS HOTEL
The members would like to start off by thanking the clubs host for the evening Joanne Hakings of the Newlands Hotel for providing our excellent club headquarter and meal for the evening
with the presentation being supported with 28 members family and friends attending.
Some of the Club members - Guest for the evening was Willie Garnett with Highest Prize winners once again Terry and Paul Douthwaite
The prize presentation is based on a nominated points system and was Topped once again by Terry & Paul Douthwaite with 77 old bird points and 64 young bird points with a total of 141 points
winning the Old bird points cup and the John Allen memorial Trophy. They also won 11 x 1sts 12 x 2nds 15 x 3rds 14 x 4ths 13 x 5ths and 6 x 6ths and winning 6 sponsors and pigeon of the year.
Derek Howard - Keith Todd
Second was Derek Howard and Paddy Johnson with 49 Old bird points and 69 young bird points with a total of 118 points and winning 2 x 1st 4 x 2nds 2 x 3rds 1 x 4th 2 x 5th and 6 sponsors.
Third place went to Keith Todd with 39 old bird points and 36 young bird points with a total of 75 points and winning 1 x 1st 1 x 2nd 1 x 4th 1 x 5th 5 x 6ths and winning 5 sponsors.

Fourth place went to Pete Thorpe with a total of 73 Old bird points also winning 4 x 1st 3 x 2nd 1 x 3rd 3 x 4th 2 x 5th and 2 x 6th and 5 sponsors.
Fifth Place went to Ken & Sue Skelton with 30 Old bird points and 33 young bird points with a total of 63 points and 2 sponsor also winning 3 x 1sts 2 x 2nds 2 x 3rd 3 x 4th 4 x 5th and 7 x 6th.
Sixth place went to Dave Pickering with 14 Old Bird points and 2 young bird points with a total of 16 and a 2nd place.
Taking Seventh place was the late John Allen & Dean Ingle with 13 Old bird points and winning 1 x 2nds 2 x 3rd 1 x 5th 2 x 6th
Eighth place went to Andy Moon with 9 old bird points and 3 young bird points with a total of 12 points and winning 1 x 3rd and 1 x 4th.
Ninth place went to Steve Patchett with 7 old bird points 1 x 1st and 1 Sponsor. Tenth place went to George Jackson with 3 young bird points.
Tenth place went to Martin Wood with 3 Old bird points and winning 1 x 4th 1 x 5th.
Eleventh place went to Neil Rogers with 1 old bird point and a 3rd.
The club then finished off with an excellent raffle with everyone winning one or more prizes which made £70. I would like to thank all the members for their support
and help during the season. Well done to Terry and Paul on another great season and also all the other members on their prize wins.
