9th March

Hi everyone, I don’t know were the time is going, I was out and about at 6.00am just as I have been for the last three weeks, yep the rest is certainly over, but I always remember my father saying, Gary when you enjoy what you do for a job then you will never do a days work.

The weather was ok this morning but it was a very cold wind however the birds were put through their paces, this afternoon is was very wet and dismal.

We have had a few more birds come to-day, first it was two syndicates from the Potteries area, three beauties for McGraw, Clegg & Preece, Ricky has the right idea he always sends strong youngsters, also from the Potteries we had Winky Whieldon with his three beauties for the Roys-Boys Syndicate, I have to say the support we have had from the Potteries area is superb well over 80 birds. This afternoon Ian and Tracy Taylor bought down their three belters, 2019 was Ian and Tracy’s first time in our race, Ian came up to me in Doncaster last March and asked that if he was to buy a pigeon could he enter it in our race, I told him no problem, he bought the pigeon and entered it under the Just For Madge Syndicate, he did this in memory of his late Mum Madge, hats off to both Ian and Tracy.

Tonight Pics are the Potteries Contingent from 2019 final alias Ricky showing his better half and Ian & Tracy Taylor.
