‘Birdmen’ book now available

Earlier this year the RPRA – and many of its members – assisted award-winning photographer Zak Waters in a successful Kickstarter campaign to publish his photographic study of pigeon racing and fanciers, entitled ‘Birdmen’.

The book has now been published, and is available either direct from publishers Bluecoat Press or on Amazon, but best be quick as they are selling fast.

Zak said “Birdmen has been a labour of love for me over the years as I travelled the country meeting some amazing individuals who are part of the pigeon fraternity. My investment far outweighs anything I will get back from this project. All I want is for this book to be out there in the public domain to educate people on this unique sport which is an important part of British culture.”
