Ballymena Show Series planned -

Ballymena & District HPS plan to run a show series of 5 weekly shows. Starting 2nd November and then 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th. Penning will be 7 to 8pm and all classes will be through Wires to minimise contact with pigeons due to the current covid restrictions. Birds will be 50p per bird.

Classes will be as follows,

Old cocks & old hens

Yearling cocks & hens

Young cocks & hens

Old pairs & young fancy

Young pairs & old fancy

Due to current covid restrictions we will be letting 1 person in at a time to pen birds and again to collect. When we know how many are showing we can give each fancier a time slot to pen birds. When your birds are penned you must leave the club rooms and when we are writing the cards you will be texted one at a time to collect your birds. We also plan to video the birds before and after judging with pictures of the winners being added to social media, local papers and sent to those with Facebook, WhatsApp etc.

We have to follow strict covid guidelines with PPE being available in the clubrooms but we would appreciate if members would wear a face covering when in the club. We will also be taking your temperature and keeping records of all those in attendance in case of track and trace purposes.

If any government changes come into force for NI or Mid and East Antrim Council the shows may need to be cancelled at short notice. Yours in Sport
