The “BEST KITTEL” Family
Taking the Belgian Sprint scene by storm

The KBDB Championships are the benchmark for assessing quality pigeons. The stars shine brightly when competing in this category. There can be no denying the presence of a new “Super Power” in the sprinting category in Belgium. They’re often referred to simply as “The Best Kittels”.

The birds that have been doing all the damage in the last 5 years were raced by the partnership of Dehon-Demonseau. Although they carry a similar name to the famous “Kittel” of Van Den Bulck make no mistake that this family are in no way shape or form related. In actual fact, if you want to trace their heritage back, you’ll find it leads to the old Casaert bloodlines and there’s a presence of Vandenabeele in them too

The accolades that this family have won in the last 5 years are simply incredible. Nothing can match them and the statistics at KBDB level prove it.

In 2015 it was a cousin to “Best Kittel” that won 1st National Ace KBDB Sprint
In 2016 it was “Best Kittel” himself that won 4th National Ace KBDB Sprint
In 2017 little did we realise that “Best Kittel” was merely warming up in 2016. In 2017 he came out and won 1st National Ace KBDB Sprint. His co-efficient of 0.89 is the lowest ever in Belgian history to claim this title. No other pigeon has finished so high in the rankings in 2 consecutive seasons.
In 2018 “Junior” claim so close to emulating his father by winning 2nd National Ace KBDB Sprint. His father is the illustrious “Best Kittel”

Roll the dice once more in 2019 and the pigeon most likely to claim 1st National Ace KBDB Sprint is a cock called “Daniel”. This “Daniel” cock is a nephew to the cock that won 1st National Ace KBDB Sprint in 2015. His father also a cousin to the illustrious “Best Kittel”

They are certainly a magnificent line of sprinter as the KBDB Championship results show in the last 5 years.
