Kells & District season report

The officials and members at the recent prize presentation held for Kells & District HPS.
The Kells & District HPS recently presented the season awards at a function in their own clubrooms. The leading lofts were as follows:
A Barkley & Son won – Highest Prize-winner, Cross Channel Average excluding France, Young Bird KO, Young Bird Points Cup, Sizzlers Cup, Young Bird Inland Nat Dunmanway, R Logan Cup3rd & 4th YB Ave, Yearling Nat Dunmanway.

Surgenor Bros won most cups runner up for top prize winner.

Harry Boyd won Penzance, the OB Classic and Old Bird of the Year.
Henry Turkington won – Campbell School Cup 1st Dale, YB Cross Channel Nat Dale, YB Irish National, Don Graham Memorial Cup, Top INFC result 35th YB Nat, Boddy & Ridewood Cup, YB of the Year.

Henry Turkington won the Don Graham Memorial Cup top position in the INFC.
Gregg Bros, and B Swann & Son complete the list.

Bobby Coyle and uncles Jimmy and Laurence Hanson from the Coleraine Premier HPS. Bobby and Jimmy travelled up to Brougshane to judge their first show of the year.
This week’s class was Old Cocks T/W and saw 7 fanciers pen 87 birds
