Tyrella 2014 Prize Night at the Castle Inn
Friday 14th November saw members and friends of the Tyrella club in South Down gather in the Castle Inn, Ballynoe, Downpatrick for the club’s Annual Dinner Dance and Prize distribution and my thanks to Eileen for the photos etc of the night. With over £500 being paid out in prize money the club enjoyed another successful season. The chief guests were a former member of the club Reggie Holmes and his wife Anne.
The following were the 2014 prize-winners:
Paddy Byrne & Son won y/bird 2nd Navan & Mullingar.
Ciaran Mc Manus & Dtr won old/birds 1st Mount Charles, 2nd Mallow and 1st Talbenny.
Denis Mc Nabb & Ptrs won y/birds Tullamore, old birds Mullingar, Penzance, Yearling.
National and Channel Averages.
Steven & Eric McGaw won y/birds 1st Navan, 2nd Mount Charles, old birds 1st Mallow, 2nd Talbenny ,Derek Wishart Classic and inland averages.
Sean Milligan & Dtr won y/birds 1st Mount Charles, Mallow old birds, Tullamore, 2nd Mount Charles, Bude, Penzance Classic and The Friendship National.

As promised last week I have included more photos from the very successful EDC Dinner of more of the prize winners. The INFC also had a great evening at the Stormont hotel for their prize night.
I would like to wish all readers a very Happy Christmas and a great year in 2015 and I would also like to thank all those who have throughout the past year supplied photos, information on their club results etc. Without you all this column would not exist.
