MARK FOULIS IS 2018 FANCIER OF THE YEAR

With the racing season now over the winners are now looking forward to receiving their awards at the forthcoming prize nights and in the Combine , The Fancier of the Year is one of the top awards and this year it has been won by Dundonald fancier Mark Foulis with 1490 points and he is also West Section Fancier of the Year with Dominic and Doley Croskery winning East Section Fanciers of the year . I will have a full run down of Cup winners etc in the Annual Dinner report and just a reminder that the Dinner is being held on 16th NOVEMBER 2018 in the very popular Temple Golf & Country Club . Tickets are priced at £20 can be booked from either Dorothy Smyth or Sam Duke .

Adam Muckle racing as the partnership of A&E Muckle were the Winners this season of Millisle& District Young Bird Average and The Young Bird Knock Out Cup , Adam is pictured holding his YB "Manse Way Mick" which won a 4thClub 1st Navan ,3rd Club 2nd Navan & 1st Club 1st Tullamore winning The Nom DTW in 3 races ,Adam bought this cock at an online charity sale Bred by Owen& Mick Monaghan of the Anderstown HPS and Adam thanks his wife Nicola who did the timing in on the occasions when he won these positions Adam being away watching Liverpool F.C.

FANTASTIC NATIONAL WIN FOR NEWLY FORMED PARTNERSHIP

The newly formed partnership of the lofts of Telford Bros & Sean & Jennifer Milligan of the Downpatrick Premier club had a super win when they won the INFC Penzance YB National ,1st open 1st North Section and were 1st East Down Combine on a winning velocity of 1249 on a day which saw a mixture of weather on route across the Irish Sea.

The Winning pigeon was sent to Penzance along with his hen and they were sitting fourteen days on eggs .The cock was the winner and his hen was 42nd Open 24th North Sect and the team had a third pigeon also timed to win 198th Open 122nd North Section .

The winning pigeon is a Busschaert now named ‘The New Mr Busschaert ’ was bred by Dicky Quinn from Shrigley Co.Down. and was bought at a breeder buyer sale at the Killyleagh & District club .Many congratulations to the partnership on their outstanding result .
