Saturday August 30th and the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation were at Frome and the pigeons were liberated at 09-00 in a light west wind.
In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club the Pearson machine rolls on making another clean sweep with a cheq w/f cock doing 1689 followed by two cheq cocks doing 1689 & 1688 then a b/pied hen doing 1688. This loft also took 12 positions in the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 13th, 14th, 15th & 16th.
In the Silver Ghost Homing Society Tom Chadwick takes the red card with a b/cheq hen getting its second first prize doing 1666 followed by Reuben Hough taking the next three positions with a b/pied hen doing 1561 then a b/cheq cock doing 1556 and a d/c/pied cock doing 1517.
In Derby South Road Flying Club Roy Gregory & Son take the top spot with a blue hen doing 1645 followed by a ch/pied hen doing 1626 to take fourth position. In second & third positions was last week's winner Dave Waddington with a cheq hen and a red cock both doing 1635.
In Osmaston Park Homing Society Pat Tillson gets the red card with a blue hen doing 1625 a g/grandaughter of the Bat followed by Mick Stone in second & third positions with a blue cock and a blue hen doing 1620 & 1619 with Mick Fearn in fourth with a Van Reet hen doing 1615.
In Etwall & District Flying Club Dave Wiliams & Son took the first three positions. His winner was a cheq cock doing 1543 followed by a blue hen doing 1529 then a cheq cock doing 1528 with Sam Phillips in fourth with a mealy hen doing 1516.


The Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at Wincanton and the pigeons were liberated at 10-00 in a light west wind.

In Derby Premier taking first second & fourth positions with two mealy cocks doing 1605 & 1571 and a dk/cheq cock doing 1573 was L.D.S.Johnson followed by Paul & Lynda Todd in third with a blue cock doing 1572.
