March Update 2026

2026 Members Handbooks

All 2026 handbooks will be sent out very soon to all paid up members. There are still approximately 100 unpaid members.

Subscriptions are £45 and should be paid by April 1

2026.

For any new members wishing to join, you can download an application form from the website or contact me and I can post one

out to you.

We would ask anyone who is able to pay by bank transfer if they could use this proffered method of payment for their

subscriptions or race entries as it helps reduce the charges we incur from the bank.

Latest News Updates

We would ask all members to check regularly on the website’s “Latest News” for any changes to racing information. Where we

had to send the handbooks to be printed at the end of January, amendments may occur if race points, marking stations or dates

have to change which are out of our control. We will try to notify you of any changes as quickly as possible.

Marking Station Help

With the pressure on all our marking stations to have the paperwork required for customs ready in time, we can always do with a

little extra help at the marking stations.

We are all maturing in age and with the marking teams working flat out from start to finish almost every week throughout the

season, any help is always a bonus. If you are able to lend a hand, it doesn’t matter how long you can help, even if it is whilst you

are waiting for your birds to be marked please contact your marking station I/C.

Channel Racing Paperwork

You must bring to the marking station with you on every occasion the following.

1. A copy of your CPH Certificate with your CPH registration number on it.

2. Your completed Racing Pigeon Establishment Operator’s Declaration Form, signed and dated for 2026.

3. Your Vet’s Attestation to prove that you have had your annual Vet Visit for 2026 racing.

4. Your vaccination form with every pigeon recorded on it which is housed on your premises for 2026.

******VET LOFT VISITS****** All members must be aware that ONLY actual “in person” vet visits are acceptable by DEFRA (not

virtual visits) for overseas channel racing.

Any member who arrives at the marking station with the vet’s attestation certificate showing “Virtual Loft Visit” will not be

permitted to enter the race.
