Update on Racing 2016 & 2015 Prize Winners A Committee meeting was held on Sunday 3 rd October where we received several letters of concern and suggestions regarding the transporter from our members. The Committee discussed this matter at great length and after careful consideration it has been decided to make alterations to the way the crates are stacked. A racking system is to be added to the transporter and trailer where by the crates are stacked in columns in to the racking and then the racking system is locked in to place. This will enable the Convoyer to still feed and water from inside the transporter and it will also produce air flow around all sides and the top and bottom of each crate. Pictures will be printed once the alterations have been made. The 2016 Race Programme. In the best interests of the Club it was voted to return to Barcelona with the Barcelona International organized by Belgium for our longest old bird race. Your race programme for next season is as follows: - Coutances – 30 th April, Messac 14 th May, Barcelona (International date), Fougeres 2 nd July, Bordeaux 30 th July and Coutances YB/OH 27 th August. Epsom Show. There will be a stall at the Epsom show on October 31 st where 27 birds from the BBC Stud will be available to purchase and orders will be taken for anyone wishing to purchase 2016 youngsters from the Stud. Members wishing to purchase dinner tickets for this years Prize Presentation on Saturday 21 st November at the Marsham Court Hotel (formerly Days Hotel), Bournemouth please contact me as soon as possible.
