On Saturday 7
October the BBC held their end of season meeting to finalise this years racing
and put together a race programme for 2024.
The consensus of the majority of members and fanciers is that we need to be collaborating with
other organisations to save on costs. The 2024 race programme the Committee have put together
has done just that to offer our members as much as we can and as cost effectively as we can.
Whether you race short, middle or long distance there is something for you.
For Nort Sur Erdre, Pau International, Bordeaux and Fougeres YB/OB we will be collaborating
with the CSCFC and BICC. Messac and Guernsey YB/OB we will be joining up with the
CSCFC.
Any other organisations who would like to join us across the channel you are more than
welcome.

Remember you can enter 1 pigeon by the race entry closing date and send extra birds on the day
of marking for the same cost per bird. (We do not accept pools and nominations on the day of
marking, these must be entered by the race entry closing date).
Marking Stations
The Marking stations will be:
Pau International: – Southampton and Sunbury.
Barcelona: – Sunbury.
Guernsey YB/ OB: – Bovingdon, Brighton, Frome, Higham, Ironbridge and Southampton.
Fougeres and Messac: - Frome, Higham, Ironbridge, Southampton and Steventon.
Nort Sur Erdre, Bordeaux and Fougeres YB/OB: All BICC marking stations will be available for
our members to use.
2024 Subscriptions
The subscription fee for 2024 is £40. Anyone wishing to join, please either download an
application from the website or contact the Secretary.
Dinner Presentation
There are still dinner tickets left for anyone wishing to attend on Saturday 18
November at the
Marsham Court Hotel, Bournemouth, BH1 3AB. Tickets are £37.50 per person and can be
purchased by contacting the Secretary. Accommodation can be booked directly with the
Marsham Court Hotel on 01202 552111.
