March Update 2026
The racing season is now just around the corner and we still have 104 unpaid members to date.
Just a reminder that your yearly subscription fee of £50 is now due and must be paid before 1
April 2026. At the end of March all 2026 handbooks will be sent out to the members who have
paid so far.
If you do have online banking and are able to pay your subscription fees or race entries by bank
transfer rather than cheque it would be appreciated as it would help reduce the bank charges
we incur.
For any new members wishing to join, you can download an application form from the website
or contact me and I can post one to you.
When it comes to racing, the members handbooks go to print at the end of January so places,
marking stations, dates and times can change to what is printed. Could all members look out
for any amendments on the website “Latest News” where we will include all the upto date
information we have. For any member you know that doesn’t use the internet, if we could try and
keep them updated by word of mouth as well please.
Any help at the marking stations is always gratefully welcome, even if it’s whilst you are waiting
for your birds to be marked. If you are able to help, please contact your local Marking Station
I/C.
If all members could make sure their paperwork for channel racing is up together ready to be
checked for when they arrive at the marking station, this will save a lot of time. Once checked it
will be stamped ready for next time.
CPH Paperwork Members Must Bring To the Marking Station For Channel Racing
1. A copy of your CPH Certificate with your CPH registration number on it.
2. Your completed Racing Pigeon Establishment Operator’s Declaration Form, signed and
dated for 2026.
3. Your Vet’s Attestation to prove that you have had your annual Vet Visit for 2026 racing.
4. Your vaccination form with every pigeon recorded on it which is housed on your
premises for 2026.
******VET LOFT VISITS******– All members must be aware that ONLY actual “in person” vet
visits are acceptable by DEFRA (not virtual visits) for overseas channel racing.
Any member who arrives at the marking station with the vet’s attestation certificate showing
“Virtual Loft Visit” will not be permitted to enter the race.
