BBC MARKING STATION - LOUELLA PIGEON WORLD
Thanks to the efforts of many fanciers in the Leicester area we are pleased to say we are very close to having a marking station confirmed at Louella Pigeon World in North West Leicestershire. This second meeting that we are holding is to confirm the logistics involved, confirm the amount of interest so far, put in place the personnel that will be involved on the marking night and look at different venues for clock stations in and around the area. We will also be rolling out the final idea in relation to the duplication club to cover the Midlands with the BBC and there are some very exciting suggestions to increase the interest in National and International in the Midlands. We will have application forms available at the meeting for the BBC, or if anyone wants one posting to them then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Location:- The Brant Inn. Leicester Road. Groby. Leicestershire. LE6 0DU Time:- 7.00pm meet for a 7.30pm start, please be prompt. Wednesday 9th January 2013.
Directions from South:- Exit the M1 Northbound at Junction 21A and continue until you see the signs for Coalville and the A50. Exit at this junction, take the 4th exit on the roundabout and The Brant Inn can be seen on your left hand side. Directions from North (M1):- Exit at Junction 22 and head towards Leicester. At the junction with the A46 take the 3rd exit signposted for Groby and the The Brant Inn is on your left hand side. Directions from North (A46):- At the junction with the A50, signposted for Coalville, leave the A46 and take the 2nd exit signposted for Groby, The Brant Inn is located on your left.
